  3. H₀: Challenges in implementing cost management techniques do not significantly affect profitability.

Significance of the Study

This study will provide insights into the effectiveness of various cost management techniques for enhancing profitability in businesses in Ilorin West LGA, offering practical recommendations for improving financial outcomes.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

The study will focus on SMEs operating in the retail, manufacturing, and service sectors in Ilorin West LGA. Limitations may include difficulty in accessing confidential financial records and limited cooperation from business owners.
